Is it expensive to put in recessed or track lighting in a condo?

I have a one story condo, with a another condo right above me. So I am not sure recessed lighting would work?

But either route I go, recessed or track, how much should I be looking to pay? It is for my living room and a good 4 lights should do.

For recessed cans figure about 60-70 dollars for can and install, if they can be put up and interconnected. Track is easier to mount, and depending on the room size and where you want the lights to be on the track, is a little harder to give you a figure. Track kits run from 40-a few hundred dollars.
