How do I replace a 50 watt halogen bulb in track lighting?
The socket has the two prongs, but when I try replacing with a new bulb (i have tried a number of new bulbs) nothing happens
It is a single track with 8 lights on it. Three of them have gone out.
The bulbs are the typical two prong halogen bulbs, but when I replace it (tried with multiple bulbs) the new bulb does not turn on. it there a fuse within each one of the fixtures on the track?

have you checked your breakers and fuses?
The light sounds like it is a low voltage type so I suppose you are using a low voltage bulb and the issue prob. is the track head is not making a good connection take it down and put it back up and if it still doesn’t work put it in another spott on the track because it could be that part of the track is not making a good connection
